It's pure love, old and true. And a bit cranky. I hope you love it.

Older Than Ireland was marvelous! I laughed, I cried, and I decided if I live to be 100 it needs to be in a tiny flat in an Irish village.

I just watched The Diplomat on Netflix. Mixed reviews but it’s fun and entertaining. Writers block happens. Ask sometime how I know that. Keep a pad of paper and writing tool in strategic places for quick thoughts. You’ll be surprised what you will have when you go to sit down to write. I used drive in my previous field job and kept a tape recorder (pre-iPhone) to dictate thoughts and articles as they developed in my mind. Just keep doing what your doing. You will get there.

I love imagining you with a tape recorder in hand, capturing ideas as they pop up. Thanks for always being an encouraging cheerleader of me.

A cliff hanger! A real Alfred Hitchcock way of creating tension and suspense! Keep it coming Pie Lady! I’m hooked! And don’t worry about what you are saying or how you say it! Just let it out because you know it is itching to get out! You can edit later!

Let it fly!! You are such a great wordsmith, and the ‘stuff’ is rumbling around just below the surface! Don’t be shy! Ha! Is that even possible?! Even though this is ripping off the veil and giving people a look inside your life, no one is judging, or if they are, you can be sure they have lots of their own stuff that should be judged and should not be given a second of your time! You were the expert in your newsletter, writing about things you knew about. Now you are exploring and discovering as you write. It is new and it is exciting! Don’t write as if you are an expert, but rather enjoy the discovery along with your readers!
